UNESCO World Heritage City Bursa Has Been Promoted in Berlin

Between 08-12th March 2017 in ITB Berlin exhibition; historical sites, nature and touristic features of Bursa has been presented to the visitors of the exhibition by the Bursa Union of Culture Tourism Promotion in the coordination of Bursa Governorship and the promotional activities took place on the Bursa stand that has been supported by Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA).

In ITB Berlin Exhibition, that took place between 8-12th March 2017 in the capital of Germany, during 5 days about 10 thousand exhibitors from 184 countries of 5 continents have welcomed 28 thousand visitors in the exhibition area of 160 000 m2.

In 51th ITB Berlin- International Tourism Bourse of Berlin, that is the most prestigious organisation of tourism and travel sector, Bursa stand attracted attention. Bursa stand specially designed to present historical and natural beauties of UNESCO city Bursa together with its thermal resources and Iznik tiles has taken full marks from the visitors.

On the first day of the exhibition, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkish Republic visited the Bursa stand after the opening of the Turkish pavilion in the exhibition.

In the exhibition stand, where the members of Bursa Union of Culture Tourism Promotion carried out promotional activities and Greater Municipality of Bursa and Municipalities of Mudanya, Karacabey, Nilüfer and Iznik have participated, the tourism potential as well as historical and touristic elements of Bursa have been promoted. Also, in order to promote Bursa, leaflets and brochures in English and German as well as promotional materials were distributed to the visitors during exhibition.
