Global Cleantech Innovation Program (GCIP), which is being carried out by various public and private aided entrepreneurship programs in Turkey from 2014 till now, has come forward with contributions to the entrepreneurial ecosystem in clean technology field.

On 2014, United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Global Environment Facility (GEF) and The Cleantech Open initiated a Global Entrepreneurship Accelerating Programme in 7 Countries including Turkey.

GCIP is executed under cover of Ministry of Industry and Technology and hosted by TÜBİTAK. Other shareholders of the programme are Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation, Ministry of Industry and Technology, Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB) and Technology. Development Foundation of Turkey (TTGV).

GCIP is presenting all their facility and resources for technology experts, professionals and volunteer entrepreneurs, in order for them to set up a successful and sustainable clean-tech business, create new job opportunities and improve their current business.
