Bursa was promoted at YOREX Local Products Fair held in Antalya for the 9th time this year with the slogan “what’s famous in with you?”. The fair that has over 500 participants coming from 72 cities of Turkey and more than 200 thousand visitors ended in 28 October.

Our Local Tastes Attracted Intense Interest

Bursa was promoted in the booth by serving products unique to Bursa such as candied chestnut, “Deveci” pears, Mustafakemalpaşa dessert, Gemlik olives, Karacabey linden and onion, Mihalıç cheese, Orhangazi Gedelek Village Agricultural Development Cooperative’s famous “Gedelek pickle”, local tastes of Yenişehir and İnegöl. The booth where examples of Iznik tile art were presented, attracted great attention of the visitors. Umurbey Silk Production and Design Center, which operates under the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, also took part in the booth with the production of silkworm yarn and carpet weaving looms. They exhibited the intricacies of silk production and carpets woven with silk yarn to the visitors.
