Automotive industry gets ready to celebrates its 10th championship in export with its export over 19 billion USD dollar export in 11 months.
In November 2015, by 4.4% increase in export value, automotive industry’s export is 921 million USD that made it 19 billion 317 million USD export for 11 months period. According to Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters Association’s November data, among the top 5 export sectors, only automotive sector increased its export.
Automotive industry that has the highest share in total export of Turkey as16.8%, increased its export to EU countries by 7% and Middle east countries by 24%.
According to Product Groups
On the basis of the product groups, automotive supplier industry export for November 2015 is 736 million USD with an increase of 0.4% compared to same month of previous year. For the same period, the export for passenger car product group increased by 8% to 635 million USD, of motor vehicles for the transport of goods increased by 14% to 411 million USD and of bus-minibus-midibus product group increased by 9% to 119 million dollar.
For January- November period, the export of automotive supplier industry decreased 10% to 7 billion 876 million USD and of passenger cars decreased 6% to 6 billion 274 million USD where the export of motor vehicles for the transport of goods increased by 2% to 3 billion 842 million and of bus-minibus-midibus product group increased by 8% to 77 million USD.
According to Countries
Based on the foreign trade data of countries, in November 2015, automotive industry’s export to Germany decreased by 2% to 294 million USD where to UK it increased by 8% to 221 million USD and to Italy it increased by 16% to 186 million USD.
According to first 11 months of 2015, compared to same period of previous year, the export to Germany fell by 10% to 3 billion 36 million USD, to France fell by 11% to 887 million USD where the export to UK increased by 8% to 2 billion 447 million. For the same period, important increases in export was for USA which is 71% increase and 695 million USD export in total and for Spain which is 13% increase and 3 million USD export in total.
