Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA) made the round-table meeting with the Dutch delegation to contribute the further strengthening of trade and economic relations of Bursa and the Netherlands firms.
Economic network of the Dutch Embassy is arranging business tour across Turkey for Dutch investors to show the opportunities in Turkey and to establish business connections in cities other than Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara.
In this context, the Department of Economy and Trade of the Dutch Embassy, held a multi-sector trade mission in Bursa between 12-13 October . Chaired by the Royal Netherlands Consulate General in Istanbul, Robert Schuddeboom, the Dutch Delegation consists of companies established in Turkey and representatives of companies from the Netherlands.
Bursa Investment Support Office Coordinator made a speech at the opening of the meeting. He gave information about the Works of BEBKA. Then Istanbul Consul General Robert Schuddeboom mentioned the importance of trade and economic relations between the two countries. He also expressed regret and condolences for the tragic incident that took place in Ankara.
Bursa Investment Support Office Specialist Emine Arslan Pauli made a presentation to The Dutch delegation, providing information about business environment and the main industrial sectors of Bursa. The presentation referred economic and geographic importance of Bursa, size of the sectors in Turkey, the number of companies, the number of employees and external trade figures. After the presentation, there was a session sharing the mutual exchange of ideas.
In addition, the delegation also visited Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the industrial zones and has held talks with different organizations and business representatives.
