Bilateral Business Discussions With REDAH Have Been Started

Regarding the cooperation protocol signed between Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA) and Regional Economic Development Agency for Herzegovina (REDAH) in September 2014, first delegation of businessmen from Bursa visited Bosnia Herzegovina between dates of 26 February and 1 March 2015 aiming to establish bilateral business discussions with Bosnia and Herzegovinian businessmen and improve economic relations between Bursa and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The businessmen in the visiting delegation, who were from member companies of Mustafakemalpaşa Chamber of Industry and Trade from Bursa, were accompanied with BEBKA Bursa Investment Office Coordinator during the visit.

On the first day of the visit, Bursa delegation got information from Turkish Embassy in Sarajevo from Economic and Commercial Attache Sedat YILDIZabout investment possibilities and leading sectors in Sarajevo. The delegation also visited BIGMEV (Foundation for the Development of Relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina) and KOSGEB (Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organisation) Twinning Centre in Sarajevo where a presentation about economy and commerce of Bosnia and Herzegovina took place.

The delegation also visited REDAH (Regional Economic Development Agency for Herzegovina) that is located in Mostar and updated by Head of Small and Medium Enterprises Department Nevzet SEFO about Herzegovina Region.

Bursa delegation visiting Mostar and also Tomislav city, had bilateral discussions with Herzegovinian companies in sectors of plastic packing, food processing and construction and visited the production areas.

The delegation also visited The Consulate General of Republic of Turkey in Mostar and exchanged views about potential sectors to invest in Mostar. The sectors of restoration, organic food production, solar and wind energy investments were the main sectors in discussion.
