From Mittlerer Niederrhein Region of Germany, the delegation that consisted of representatives of metal- machinery, logistics and automotive sectors and was led by IHK Industrie – und Handelskammer Mittlerer Niederrhein (IHK Mittlerer Niederrhein Chamber of Industry and Commerce) visited BEBKA on 23 March 2015. The leading sectors in Mittlerer Niederrhein Region of Germany has some similarity with the sectors in Bursa. For that reason, several times the delegations arrived from this region to Bursa to establish some business connections. Also last year, a delegation from the region was hosted by BEBKA.

In this visit of the delegation to BEBKA, a presentation about Bursa’s sectors and especially focusing on metal- machinery and textile sectors in Bursa was given by Bursa Investment Office to the delegation that consisted of 21 high-level managers and owners of SME’s, representatives of chamber of commerce and industry and organisations related to development in Mittlerer Niederrhein Region of Germany.

Beside other business visits of the delegation in Bursa, on the second day of the visit, the delegation visited PEGA Air Springs Company that received grant for its R&D project within the frame of 2011 Financial Support Programme of BEBKA. The delegation visited the production area and they were given a presentation on company’s working scope and foreign trade.
