FDI into Turkey up 22 percent in first seven months

Foreign direct investment (FDI) into Turkey went up by 22 percent.

Foreign direct investment (FDI) into Turkey went up by 22 percent during the first seven months of 2015 over the same period of last year, according to data from the country’s Central Bank.

In July alone, USD 3.4 billion has been channeled into Turkey, the main recipient sector being financial services with over USD 2.1 billion.

Turkey ranked 22nd in the world in foreign direct investment (FDI) in 2014, attracting around USD 12.5 billion.
