Governorship of Bursa, Bursa Union of Culture Tourism Promotion, Bursa Greater Municipality and BEBKA organized ‘Uludağ International Snowboard Week’ on 4-10th February 2015.

The activity aimed to promote Mount Uludağ and attract winter sports fans to Uludağ- Bursa.

The four snowboard pro riders Tim Kevin Ravnjak, Billy Morgan, Sarka Pancochova and Celia Miller came to Bursa and they gave pro coaching training to the participant amateur contestants before the competition. The final competition took place in two categories as amateur and professional. In the final competition that took place in Kırkgözler location in Uludağ, the sportsmen competed despite the windy and snowy weather conditions. The Governor of Bursa Münir Karaloğlu followed the competitions and stated his wishes about Uludağ to be a well-known skiing centre in the world beside its being a brand value in Turkey.

The awards of the winner of two categories were given by the Governor, the Vice Governor and the Secretary General of BEBKA. During the week, many videos have been shot with the guest snowboard pro riders to contribute to the promotion of Uludağ to attract sports people to Uludağ.
